SBE Operations
- 3.1. Understand operations of opening a store, securing the store, and running the store
- 3.2. Apply the marketing mix to school based enterprise for opening day activities (promo plan, product mix, pricing strategies, place (channel mgt))
- 3.3. Use management techniques to make staffing decisions and discover human resources management (under staffing, over staffing, scheduling. HR - benefits, payroll, employee relations)
- 3.4. Develop and edit sbe polices and procedures/handbook - code of ethics and Establish safety policies and procedure(difference bt policy and procedure. company expectations of employees, what are ethics, values, standards)
- 3.5. Perform training program and demonstrate appropriate employability skills (responsibility, credibility, integrity, empathy, life long learning, etc...)
- 3.6. Process deposits, giving change, adhere to sbe budgets and calculate daily sales...develop record keeping system for school store, Explain the nature of overhead/operating expenses and Use budgets to control operations (what is overhead?, what is budget?, how do we balance daily sales?)
- 3.7 Research best customer service techniques,apply them to the school store, & train employees in quality customer service
- 3.8. Obtain,develop, maintain, and improve a product/service mix to respond to market opportunities for school store (product mix, item, line, depth, width, product life cycle, product mix strategies - modification, extension, deletion)
